Conference registration and logistics


Registration for the conference  participation (1st September, 2015) is now open, you can now register via ConfTool here.  

Please note:

  1. Accepted paper presenters and PhD poster presenters - Details of the registration process will be made available to all accepted paper presenters in the email detailing their papers’ acceptance in August 2015.
  2. Special session presenters – Details of the registration process will be made available to all those invited to participate in a special session through the session chairs by end July 2015.
  3. Day delegates – will be able to register through the online conference system from 1st September 2015.
  4. Registration fees – All paper presenters, special session presenters and day delegates will be required to pay a small registration fee on registering.  If you register before October 15th 2015 the fee will be US$ 50.  If you register after this date the fee will increase to US$ 100.  The registration fee goes towards the cost of lunches and refreshments during the three day conference, transport from the conference hotel to the conference venue and a conference bag containing a printed programme.  PhD students who have accepted papers or posters can apply for a fee waiver from the AfricaLics Secretariat by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.   5. Registration closure – the online registration system will close on Thursday 10th October 2015.  You will not be able to register to participate after this date.
